I found a good blog with essential information for teachers. The blog was written by a woman named Beth Lewis, and in the blog she highlights the 10 most common mistakes that teachers make. The mistakes begin with becoming "buddies" with students, to not setting up an organized plan, to remaining isolated in the school community, and finishing up with being too hard on yourself. Also, built into these great sections are links to more information for teachers. I believe that Beth really hit the nail with her posting. She has given me a focus for my future teaching career because by realizing what to avoid, I have also discovered what I want to strive for. Thanks!

Aloha!  I am Maya and I am a student at the University of Hawaii Manoa.  I named my page lalaland because I love feeling carefree, adventurous, and happy.  Dancing and music are my inspirations...they are a large part of my life and help define who I am as a person.
